The Bigger Place

The Bigger Place is special not only because of its food, but also because of the story behind its existence. Formerly called The Little Place, it was forced to close in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. But after expanding and reopening in 2002, it now has a charming and artistic dining room in addition to the burrito counter.

Although it can be hard to find authentic Mexican food in New York City, The Bigger Place manages to use fresh ingredients to provide some of the best tacos, quesadillas and burritos in the area. But aside from the traditional Mexican favorites, they also have an extensive breakfast and weekend brunch menu. Another great perk of this incredible eatery? They are open for dinner on weeknights—a wonderful feature in an area that usually closes early! Stop in or order delivery to see why this “bigger little place” is so special.

Just had a great meal from there, and they aren't kidding when they say 15-30 minutes.

Never messed up an order. Amazing brunch: Biscuits and pancakes come with strawberry butter option, so delicious! My favorite Chile Rellenos in the city. Fresh ingredients, never oily, never too spicy. If you want Mexican food that doesn't leave you feeling heavy. This is it. Only wish they had longer hours on the weekend!
